Midwifery Care & Consulting

Providing the individualized care you deserve during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, & beyond.

It’s positive!

New life is growing in your body. And let’s be honest – this comes with a wide range of physical and emotional changes.

Whether this conception was unexpected, easy or a result of hope + science you are likely experiencing a lot of feelings.

Excitement about the future.

Nerves around the unexpected.

Awe at the human body’s capabilities.

Anticipation about the actual process of giving birth.

The birth experience is intimate. Your care should be, too.

You deserve personalized and thorough care through your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

And I’ve made it my life's work to provide high-quality care to growing families.

Hi, I’m Brandy, she/her, founder of Willow Birth Services.

Professionally, I’m first and foremost a birth worker; I wear many hats in the community I serve.

I offer midwifery & wellness care, consulting, and birth worker mentoring. I’ve been proudly serving Oklahoma families for over 18 years.

Whether you’re expecting your first or fifth child, giving birth is a big deal.

If you have had less than wonderful experiences with past care with other providers your voice and your choice should be heard and considered.

No matter where you are in your journey, I work provide respectful, evidence-based care so you can make informed decisions and have autonomy in your birthing process.

Feeling Confident in Your
Birthing Journey

As your ally, it’s my job to support and provide resources that educate and empower you as you progress through your pregnancy.

We’ll cover everything from a preventative care perspective that include details about nutrition, recommended supplements, optimal fetal positioning & physical activity for the easiest possible labor and birthing process.

Sharing the current evidence so YOU can make genuinely informed decisions that leave you feeling confident and looking ahead.

“BIRTH IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO TRANSCEND. TO RISE ABOVE WHAT WE ARE ACCUSTOMED TO, REACH DEEPER INSIDE OURSELVES THAN WE ARE FAMILIAR WITH, AND TO SEE NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE TRULY MADE OF, BUT THE STRENGTH WE CAN ACCESS IN AND THROUGH BIRTH."

Midwifery Care

As a Midwife, I follow the Midwifery model of care alongside the rules and regulations set forth for Midwives in the State of Oklahoma. The Midwifery Model of Care is a very hands-on and personalized approach where the whole person is top priority.

Whether you choose to birth at home or use the  Oklahoma City Birth Center, I provide a warm, relaxed, family-centered environment.

Each pregnancy and birth is unique, and your care should be, too.

Second Midwife as Assistant

As a midwife’s assistant, my primary role is to assist and support your midwife in the clinical and birthing environment. I do not act as the primary prover Midwife in these cases.

Like all assistants, I provide a second set of trained, experienced eyes and hands to help create a safer birthing space alongside your Midwife. I participate in your prenatal care, labor, and immediate and extended postpartum care visits as offered by your Midwife.

Not everyone needs a second Midwife as their Assistant. Most out-of-hospital births have well-built birth teams comprising their midwives and Trained Assistants

Birth Consulting

a virtual service

This service is beneficial to families for any birth location, any mode of birth.

Utilizing the information, educational resources, and relationships built from over 20 years in the Oklahoma birth community, we work together throughout the course of your pregnancy to build the foundation to having the best possible experience.

My goal is to reduce the physical, mental, and emotional stress and harm that can unnecessarily and often unintentionally occur during the process of labor, birthing, and the immediate postpartum period.

Taking into consideration my professional experiences with local facilities and providers + birthing facility policies + community knowledge and evidence based information = a no fluff that is built specifically for YOU.

As I work in the birthing space, my goal is simple – to provide safe, individualized, informed, and supported care.

Brandy LABORED by my side the whole time I was in labor. She poured warm water on me in the tub. She reminded me of how to breathe. She reminded me that my body was doing exactly what it is meant to do. She reminded me that my baby was coming! She kept me hydrated throughout my 14-hour labor…had essential oils and cool rags on my head and neck, etc. I could go on and on. I am proud to say I had my son by trusting my body and doing an unmedicated birth. I felt so empowered and so grateful after I was finished.

Brandy is an incredible person and an amazing doula! She was with me every step of the way of my pregnancy. Any time I had a question or needed advice, she was always available. As my pregnancy progressed, both of my babies ended up in the breech position. Brandy came over to my house several times to do belly massage to encourage them turn head down. I ended up having to have a medically necessary c-section due to a prolapsed umbilical cord. Brandy was there with us in the operating room – letting us know what would happen, keeping our spirits up, and taking the most beautiful pictures of our twins’ birth.
